Feta cheese update...
So random but I know a lot of you girls love Feta and are avoiding it bc of the unpasturized business.
I just ordered greek food from a very authentic spot in my neighborhood and asked if their feta was pasturized and it IS!
I am now convinced that all US feta is pasturized lol
THought I'd share, happy greek salads to you all

Sorry to break it to you, but the Feta at Avli is NOT pasteurized. And neither is the mozzarella at Press 195.

I love me some gyros with feta! I double checked with my place too and they confirmed. I still don't eat it every day, but I'll get it once a month or so.

This I knew, I eat it too. But I assumed that a real deal place wouldn't be--but it is. Maybe it is not as real deal as I think
