i wasnt told to have a full bladder for my level 2. actually, halfway during the sono, the tech had me get up and go to the bathroom just to see if the baby would move to a better position.

Hmmm... I wonder why my doctor's office told me to have full bladder. With DS#1, they also told me to have full bladder and it was a different doctor's office.

Nope, sorry
Doc never said anything about it. I actually asked if I can use the bathroom b4 it and they were fine with that
I had a different Doc for DS b/c I was on LI at the time and now the same with my NJ Doc
Never said anything about drinking

Sorry, I was not told to have a full bladder either. Maybe call the office to make sure and ask them when and how much you should be drinking?

Yep, 24 oz of water by one hour before the sono. I know you see Dr. Plancher too, and this is what I was told at my last appt. My level II is next Tuesday. I saw a different doc when i was pregnant with my son and I didn't have to do this. I asked and they said it just helps the tech see things better. I'm just hoping to not pee myself beforehand.

Hell's no. I would have ****** myself if I had a full bladder during the level II with all that poking and prodding. Chat Icon

I actually emptied my bladder before the sono because I had to go so bad!

With DS I wasn't told to drink anything before. The tech even told me to go to the bathroom before we got started.
