Going to Vieques Island...anyone been?

Going in May to Vieques Island. Staying at the W. Celebrating babymoon and 5 year wedding anniversary. We are using our Starwood points. Anyone been?

We went 6 years ago for our 1 year anniversary. I don't remember the name of the hotel we stayed at. We went the first week of June for 5 days.
It is a beautiful island but there is nothing to do on the island. It is very quiet and relaxing.
Two nights we ate at the hotel and 2 nights we ate in town. One place was a local place which was ok and nothing fancy. The other place a 2 story restaurant that had great local food. I know it had an open restaurant but I can't remember the name.

One thing that did stink about the trip was actually getting to Vieques. We flew in San Juan International airport and the drive to the ferry was about an hour and then you need to take a ferry island and drive a few minutes to the hotel. I had no idea when I booked the trip that it was that far other wise I would have looked into the charter flights from the main island into Viequs.
