cramps cramps go away...

I have on and off cramping since i woke up this morning. I'm about 7.5 weeks. They aren't excruciating and i'm not bleeding, but they are making me verynervous..i want them to go away!!!
Anyone ever have cramps on and off for about 4 hours????

cramping is normal early on as long as you dont see blood and they dont get severe. It's most likely your uterus stretching.

I'm 6.5 and I got cramping, not bleeding yet either. It's making me nervous as well.

My dr. said not worry about it unless there was spotting or bleeding..

its not uncommon. make sure to stay hydrated. sometimes lack of fluids can cause cramping.

i have had cramping off and on since yesterday. It is making me nervous too but it's not severe and I haven't had any spotting/bleeding. I am thinking it's just my uterus making room for 2 babies!

I had cramping about the same time as you, and everything was fine

So, so normal. Don't worry. Your uterus is looking to stretch for that baby!!

thanks....i guess it's normal, but the cramps are still here...want them to go away already.
Never had them this long.

I had light 'cramping' (more like stretching) throughout my entire first tri. I was told it is totally normal!

I had cramping throughout most of my pregnancy with DD and for the first half with the twins!

I had some mild cramping in the beginning. Nothing too serious. The dr said that was fine.

i had some cramping no bleeding a cpl weeks ago, around 8w. like one of the pp's said, stay hydrated

I get a daily email fromthe American Pregnancy Association. I though this tidbit was interesting.

Before you were pregnant, your uterus was about the size of your fist, but it is now about the size of a grapefruit.

That explains all the cramping we are feeling!

Had them on and off since about 4 weeks...At 7 weeks, they were still there...I'm 8 1/2 weeks now, and still have on and off, WITH spotting, but just had sono yesterday and all is well with baby....

If you are really worried, call your Dr...it helped me immensely to talk to / see mine. But chances are, as long as they are not severe or doubling you over in pain, that it's fine (albeit scary)!
