btdt moms: on the fence about bf...
I bf my DS for 6-7 months, stopped so I could get pregnant again. I wouldn't mind doing it again, mostly for the financial aspect of it. But how would I bf with a 16 month old running around? Formula would be much easier, cause I'd be able to prop the bottle if I needed to. Anyone accomplish this?

Good post I'm on the fence too. Only tried for about a month with DS. He'll be 26 months when the baby is here I really didn't care for BF so I go back and forth... should I try this time or just do formula Ugh

Re: btdt moms: on the fence about bf...
I plan to BF this baby with a 4 year old boy running around and more worrisome... asking questions! Although FF would be much easier... I feel like how could I not give something to my second child that I gave to my first? I only BFd 4 months, but I do feel it benefited DS.
Good luck!

I've been thinking about this too! I bf my ds for 3 months and would like to do atleast that much with #2. I just don't know how possible it will be since ds will be a little over 2 when he/she arrives.

My girls are 14 months apart and I never had a problem BF'ing DD#2. My girls are 3 and 4 years old and I will BF the new baby(if it ever comes out ) too.

I guess if there is a will, there is a way. I probably won't know what I'm going to do till I pop dc out.

Im debating this too. I would love to be able to breastfeed. My concern is more over what happens when I got back to work??? Im a teacher due in Nov. So, if all goes well Ill take my leave and come back after the new year. How would I work in pumpoing into the school day??

MY first two are 24 months apart. I would let DS#1 watch his favorite show or play with a new toy (that I bought specifically with this in mind)
I pumped with #2 and scheduled the pumpings when I knew DS would be napping or busy.
Thankfully both will be in school for a good part of the day for #3

Re: btdt moms: on the fence about bf...
I EBFd DS for 15 months. I never thought I would make it that far, but by the time I hit 6 months it was "easy" and so I did love it.
I am hoping to EBF the twins but just the thought makes me
Like PP mentioned, DS is easily entertained by a show so I will probably just put one on for him in the beginning when the sessions are taking a while.
