paint help

any reccos on good paint brands and stores in Nassau to purchase? Also, do companies sell samples so I can smear all over the walls as a test?

I am obsessed with resoration hardware paint colors but I heard they are pricey... do you have to order those at the store or do paint stores carry this brand? Is it special order?

Re: paint help

I'd recommend Benjamin Moore paint. It's about $50 - $60 a gallon, but they have great colors and the quality is great. They have little sample bottles for like $4.99.

I second BM paint, especially the Aura paint line. No fumes, primer in it and GREAT coverage. One coat (of a lighter color) covered very dark colors in our new place.

Re: paint help

I'm a big fan of Behr paints as well. I think they have a nice selection of colors and cover really well. I also love Benjamin Moore paints

I think it's on the high end, but worth it.

I also have used Behr's in the past like a couple other posters and it went on really well.
