Gelac
I know there is Gel manicures and Shellac Manicures.
I went in for what I was told was Shellac, but reading the bottle noticed it said Gelac. Googled quickly and it only brought up the company. No reviews.
Love it, but wth is it really? Anyone else know/hear of it?

Re: Gelac
I had it done, they said they needed to file the surface of my nail for it, which killed my nails, but it lasted twice as long as shellac.
I think they are pretty similar otherwise, and I wonder if the filing was even necessary.

Re: Gelac
She didn't really file the nail, more like buff it a tiny bit just to take the shiny off.
I love how I was able to walk right out without a worry of scraatching or smudging. Nine days later they still look really good.
