BBB registry issues
I'm a big fan of BBB, but now that people have started to purchase things off our registry I realized that a lot of the items I had on there (including the infant car seat, the convertible car seat, and the highchair) were only available online! And of course their shipping charges are insane.
I just changed a bunch of those items to ones that are available in a lot of their stores and plan to keep an eye out for the stuff I really want and maybe switch it back.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Does their stuff often go in and out of stock in the stores?
Oh - and if someone buys you something not on your registry, will it get logged against your registry anyway so you have a record of it?

Re: BBB registry issues
I only registered BBB and had no issues with that. As for people purchasing things off of your registry from there, it will show up on your registry as long as the person gives them your registry at check out. Either way, they have the best/easiest return policy and take everything back.....unlike Baby's r Us which is awful.

Re: BBB registry issues
The issue is that when someone buys it elsewhere you can't mark that item as fulfilled... you have to delete it. We registered in store then added a few things later so there isn't much that is online only that i am aware of.

Re: BBB registry issues
I noticed with BRU that a lot of items are either online or in store only.
It would be nicer if the items were available BOTH in store and online. That way the people can pick which method works best for them.

No clue... we ended up buying it used from someone on here (it was the FP rock n play sleeper) and had to just delete it from the registry.
The good news is that they have a great return policy!

Re: BBB registry issues
Looks like I might need to make another trip to the store so I can make sure the important items are available there!!
