At 29 weeks I've gained

26lbs...I dont know how...at the beginning I hardly gained any weight, but the last 3 visits I've had, I've really packed on the lbs I dont think Im eating more than I was...the worst part is I feel like Im only gonna keep gaining these last 11 weeks...please tell me Im not alone!

I gained almost 60lbs with DS! He was born 9lbs 3oz. And by 1 week PP I lost almost 30 pounds.

I had high blood pressure starting around week 32 and was retaining tons of water. Once he was born all that went away

Thanks girls...I just keep thinking how my Dr. said at the beginning that the goal is around 30lbs, and I this rate Im going to go waay past that! Oh well...hahaha...time to go eat that Cadbury Egg

Maternal stores of nutrients and muscle development - 7 Pounds

Increased body fluid 4 Pounds

Increased blood 3 - 4 Pounds

Breast growth 1 - 2 Pounds

Enlarged uterus 2 Pounds

Amniotic fluid 2 Pounds

Placenta 1.5 Pounds

Baby 6 - 8 Pounds

Total 26.5 - 30.5 Pounds

I always gain the majority of my weight in the 2nd half of pregnancy!

With DS I gained 1 lb by 12 weeks, but was at 50lbs by the time he was born. I was down 30lbs within 2 weeks of delivery. I lost all of it by 10 months PP and I did NOTHING to try to lose it! It came off on its own in its own time.

This time I was so happy to only be up 10lbs at 20 weeks....yeah by 24 weeks I think I was at 28lbs! At this point I just want to gain less than I did last time just for my own satisfaction but the way I am eating lately I doubt that wil happen!

I am not worried though, its the one time in my life I dont care if I gain because I know that come 4/19 I will lose some and it will all come off in time! NO big deal!

Dont worry. As long as you and hte baby are doing well thats all that matters!

At my 29 week appointment, my total weight gain was 34 I was so upset!!! I was hoping to gain 40lbs total this pregnancy and it looks like I will be way above that. My new goal is 50lbs. Although we have to remember, it will come off, so please don't get too upset about it.

not alone! I'm up about 20 pounds at 23 weeks. With DS I gained 45 pounds total and lost it all within 3-4 months. I had a lot of water weight in my belly and it looks like I do again this time!

At 31w5d i've gained 29lbs..dont feel so bad. My OB isn't concerned (I am of course)
I've gained a lot more this time around than with my first! ugh

I gained most of my weight in the first and second trimesters and by 29 weeks I was around the same. It slowed down tremendously in the 3rd trimester. I'm only up about 2 pounds in a month. Everyone is different and gains weight differently. Don't stress!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone gains differently.

At 28 wks, I've only gained 15 lbs. 8 of those pounds were in the past 6 or 7 wks. When I go back in 2 wks, I know I'll probably have gained more.

Some people gain a lot in the beginning and others in the middle and others in the end. Every person is different.
