got the gel manicure this weekend
washed the dog, cleaned, did dishes... so far, not a scratch!!! im loving them!

i SOOO want to try this but everyone (including the nail lady i use for pedicures) said it wrecks your nails underneath

i love it too! im coming up on two weeks of my french manicure, did handy work with my dad in the midst of all of it, and they look perfect!
in regards to ruining your nails..my nails $uck anyway. but also, if you're going to do it, why does it matter how your nails are underneath? not being b!tchy, im really asking

You should consider shellac then. Same concept except this comes off so mich easier n dosenit need flling and soaking is less time..less yime in acetone so nails dont get ruin.
I like this so much better.

I am really thinking I'm going to try it this weekend. Like the pp said, I don't really care if it ruins my nails, since I always have polish over them anyway.
So you are liking it so far??
I am on day 3 of a regular mani and got a chip on day 2.  I'm OCD about chips so it is driving me nuts.

this will be 2 weeks tomorrow. im so happy with this! and my nails arent thick like when you have the perm. french or acrylic. it looks like a normal manicure.

I agree, I love Shellac by CND , only downfall is my salon has limited colors, and its not as good as the other gels.... well with the other gels I went a month without a chip, with Shellac I go almost 2 weeks without.
