If youre PG with #2 (or more)

How long did it take you to conceive vs #1?

Im not as young as I was when we conceived DS (as a surprise). I know there is no hard fast rule, but Im just curious.

With DD i stopped the pill the end of April we conceived that August (4 Months). Number #2 I stopped the pill right before thanksgiving and got my BFP in January (only 1 actual cycle because I stopped pill right in the middle of the pack). I will be 32 in a week. I would have liked to get pregnant in may this time but I was worried it would take awhile for #2 because I have heard that.

thats awesome! I hope Im as lucky! I have heard the same thing, which is why I was curious. I was in my 20s with DS, and now Im well into my 30s.

Good luck. I didn't chart or anything. 2 weeks after my last period we started every other night for 2 weeks--it worked :). Hope it works out for you. I also seemed to be much more relaxed this time around--I didn't really know when my last period started and for awhile once I was pregnant everyone kept asking and I couldn't really give the answer. I think that had something to do with it too.

with this one we concieved on our first cycle trying

with DD we werent trying at all, just being careless and stupid college kids...lol...but from the time we were being careless to getting pregnant was 3 months

It took me 3 months to conceive Jack and 6 months to conceive Tyler. We just had a surprise pregnancy that unfortunately ended in a miscarriage last month!

#1- 15 months, 2 IUI's and IVF
#2- 2+ years not preventing and 4 FET's...

Both children were conceived the first month trying. I temped for 4 months before actually trying for baby #1. I just guessed when I would ovulate for baby #2. I've never been on the pill.

3+ years and lots of help...BUT we are getting 2 so I guess it kinda evens things out

But please don't go by me, I am, as usual, the exception to the rule ! Most women get pregnant within the first 6 months !!

With DD it took about 6 'offical' months.

With this one...it took about 3 long years

PG #1 first try and then mos and mos with #2 b/c I was not aware that I have a 21 day cycle so I was off on when we were trying. I didn't chart or test until 6 mos when I was good and frustrated. #3 again we were careless just once and here we go again! go figure! and we were not necessarily planning on having a third, but obviously God had other plans

I'm not very fertile. Have PCOS. I got pregnant with each right before I was about to start clomid. We're very lucky.
