laundry help needed

Please tell me if I am doing something wrong.
Lately when I wash my sweaters (even ribbed turtlenecks) they come out with what looks like lint all over them. It looks terrible and I end up washing it again and again until its all gone.

Is there a better way to wash my seaters? Help save my clothes.

Thanks

Re: laundry help needed

Try using a Bounce dryer sheet in the dryer. That always works for my lint problems Chat Icon (Depending upon the size of the load u may have to use 2 sheets)

I wash my sweaters inside out to prevet pilling. Maybe that will help with lint.

I do this. And I never put them in the dryer.

I wash mine inside out too!
and I have those electric lint brushes that pull the pilling off!

I also try to wash one sweater at a time (with other stuff that wont shed on it to avoid them pilling on each other! )

Do you see this when they come out of the washer or the dryer? Do you wash them separately? Also, like a pp said, I don't put them in the dryer either which may cause lint (as well as shrinking).

Same here.

Also, are you washing your sweaters with anything that could be creating the lint, like fuzzy socks or towels?
