tell me I can still do CIO at 21 months??
I am having such a hard time with Riley sleeping thru the night. I need some help and mommy needs some sleep. It is our fault that we let her sleep in our bed with us when she would wake up but now it is getting out of control. Any advice please share

how long did it take you? Not sure if I have the strength but I know it has to be done.

Oh D.  I never did CIO when Will was little, but there are periods now (esp. after he is better after being sick) that he cries hysterically when we put him down. Sometimes we keep him up later, and sometimes we let him cry. Luckily it's never gone over 5 minutes.
We also gave him a pillow in the crib (one of mine), and I think it relaxes him and helps him sleep. I don't know if it's the smell (of course he has a new pillowcase--personalized w/ his name actually!), or it being more comfortable, but he loves it.

Beth she also has a pillow with my shirt on it for that reason!! It's tough and she is so head strong
