Introducing OWEN THOMAS - love of my life!
hi everyone! Thanks for all your support and well wishes during labor!
It was a really long, hard process but the end result was SOOO worth it.
I'll write more in my birth story but a little bit. . .
I was induced on Thursday night and made it to Saturday afternoon with no pain meds and became so exhausted and ovewhelmed that I went for the epi. . what blessed relief!! Also seemed to help my dilation and by Sat night I was fully dilated and ready to go!
I pushed for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!!! before the doctor finally said there was no was that baby's head was making it out. . his HB also started to drop so she called a c-section.
I was really upset after all that work but c-section went well and my dr and nurses were all SO supportive and amazing! When I first heard him cry, I was hysterical crying.
Recovery is hard with all the pain from the C-Section and a 54 hour labor but I am finally home with the love of my life!!
I am so amazed by him minute by minute and even though EVERY single thing I did not want to happen in labor happenened I don't regret a minute of it!

glad even tho you had a long labor that had to be a c-section it was all worth it in the end!!
