What pattern fabric would you use
to compliment toile wallpaper. I have a huge picture window in my kitchen that needs a valance. The wallpaper is not directly on the same wall, its actually set back quite a bit. Don't know if I should do a floral or stripe or a checkered pattern. any advice?

Stripes or if you want floral I would do a tone on tone floral so it isn't too busy.

You can do stripes, check or floral as long as they are all the same color tone as the wallpaper. I toured a model home that a bedroom done up in toile wallpaper and the bedding was floral and the accessories were done in different patterns but all in the same color tone and it was gorgeous!
