It just seemed like a promotion for his book. I couldn't really get into it. Maybe it made him seem likable, but to be honest, I am just not a fan of him or his time in office. His book isn't going to change my mind, IMO. Sorry.

I did not see Oprah but I have seen him on other interviews and I just liked the guy. He seemed like someone you could have a great conversation with. I feel the same way about Obama. I may not agree with their political agendas but that doesn't make me like them less as a person (like I know them. LOL).
I really can not recall anyone ever really loving a president. Everyone carries on about Clinton but I can remember a lot trash talking about him too. Everyone was so inspired by Obama...the face of change...blah blah blah. I'm not hearing too much of that chatter anymore either.
The President can't please everyone and sometimes it seems like anyone. I believe they do the best they can with the hand they are dealt. Maybe that's naive but it works for me.
