Need ideas for a long weekend in May

My BF and I are celebrating our 2nd Anniversary in May and I'm trying to think of what we can do and make the arrangements now. Last year we did a weekend at the W Hotel in Manhattan and saw a show. It was awesome! This year, I was thinking of Montauk but since our Anni is in early May, we REALLY won't be able to enjoy what I love about Montauk...the beach! I thought about Montauk Manor but again, not much to do there without the beach. I know there is Gosman's and the restaurants and shops though. The rates are pretty good for a Friday-Sunday in early May. I'd like to plan something and surprise him since he planned last years all by himself. Chat Icon

Any other ideas? TIA! Chat Icon

What about Philidelphia? It's not far, lots of history, an easy city to walk around, lots of great hotels & restaurants.

What about a B and B? I LOVE New Hope and there is a great place there where you can rent your own cottage....you are literally in the middle of a sheep pasture,t he sheep are outside your window. The breakfast in the am is AMAZING...The "cottage" rooms have fireplaces, HUGE jacuzzi tubs, double rain shower....just sooo romantic.

Great places to eat in the area I can recommend too.

we went for a night...I think even 2 would have been perfect. 1-2 is good, 3 AT MOST.

Hmm...I never been into the B&B thing but renting our own cottage sounds pretty cool! It really sounds pretty sweet!!
Can you FM me the name of the place?
Is New hope in PA?

Thanks so much!Chat Icon
