Anyone want to help me find something for the ceiling in the nursery?
Originally I wanted to do a chandelier in the nursery but we have no light in the ceiling. Too much of a hassle to get electric installed at this point so I was thinking of doing something decorative in the ceiling without lights. Kind of like a light less chandelier. Have you seen anything like this or want to help me find something cute?
The nursery walls will be a light pink and bedding is pink and white toile. Thanks for any help! Attached some nursery looks I love.

i love the look of these rooms... so shabby chic!
they have candle chandaliers... idk if you want to burn candles in there... but you could go with them for more of the look rather than the actual light factor.
this is one that I found from Kmart...

you could find crystals to hand from it as well.

I wish we got the electric installed sooner. We have no attic so the electrician has to cut out part of the wall then we have to re-sheetrock, etc. Painter is coming Wednesday so no time for that.
Would it be weird to install a chandelier that doesn't light up.

and if you are feeling artsy... here's a site that sells crystal pieces separately so you could make your own.
all you need is fishing line and a base to screw into the ceiling!

only if you install a chandelier that's electric that doesn't light up!

Thank you so much Kerri! I would love an all crystal piece. I like the candle one too. Put some pink tealights in there just for show. And the price is right!

check out the swirly one... it's crystals...
its from etsy it's like the pic on the 3rd line... you can have them do it with or without the dove.

we have an issue with our light in there. the house i live in is 100 years old so the electricity is wonky.
in that particular room, and only that room... there's NO light switch!!
the light is on a pull string. so we are going to put up a ceiling fan and hope it works with just a pull string for on and off.
we rent the apt.. and it's a gorgeous apt (has all the wonderful 100 year old features you don't find in today's homes) but since we don't own... i'm not about to pay for their electricity needs too... I sunk a lot of money into this place when we moved here in April (for example 1 room needed doors... we put in french doors, we did a TON of work here); and I can't allow myself to do more. Now we just save for a house to buy.
