Today stinks...
When I woke up this morning, DH told me that my brother called him last night to tell him that they were taking my dad to the ER. He's been sick the past few days and throwing up a ton yesterday, so he is pretty dehydrated. He has diabetes as well as some other health issues, and so those, combined with the level of dehydration were causing the numbers for his kidneys to be out of the normal range so they admitted him. My parents didn't want to stress me out, so they didn't want me to know what was going on until they had an idea. So I found out this morning that Dad was in the hospital. But they think he'll be out by Sunday, they just want to keep him for observation and make sure his fluids stay ok since he's still throwing up.
Then I'm on my way into work (running late too) and I get rear ended. Luckily the accident was VERY MINOR, there is barely even a mark on my bumper, but being 37 1/2 weeks pregnant, I was of course a nervous wreck. I called DH who came down to the accident (I was only about 10 mins from home), and I called into my job. When we got home, I called up my OB's office and they had me come in at 9:30 for a fetal stress test. They had me on the monitor for an hour and a half, and said that  is doing just fine, and they saw 2 contractions in the entire 90 minute time frame, so they aren't worried at all. I just have to watch and if I start getting contractions at regular intervals to call them.
DH and I are both just DONE now. Any adrenaline we may have had we have totally burned through. So now I think it is nap time.

I'm sooo sorry to hear you are having such a bad day....I hope your dad feels better soon....just try to sit back and relax the rest of today

Thanks ladies!!! DH and I napped from when I first posted this until about 3:30/4:00. Then we stayed in bed watching tv. He just got up, but I'm actually still there We figured it was a 'stolen' day off together so we were just going to chill out and have a peaceful day while we still could

Thanks Carolyn, all is well with me and Nugget...just waiting on him to decide to come out at this point...lol.
They can't seem to figure out what is causing Dad to be so sick, and with his extensive medical history, they are pretty much running every test they can think of to see what comes back with a result.
You just rest and relax - Junior Mint is counting on that from you  Thank you though!!
