shower invitation question

we're having the baby shower at our house - a backyard party. my parents are contributing towards the shower, so i have to put on the invitations that it's hosted by my parents.

can i put the rsvp info for myself... or do i have to put my mom's info? it would be so much easier if people just responded to me so i can keep track; especially since i know everyone who i'm inviting. but since it's "hosted" by my parents, im not sure what's the right thing to do.

ETA: for the contact info, i would be putting a phone number and email address.

Re: shower invitation question

What if you made a seperate email address to RSVP to...like [email protected].

If people have the option to email RSVP, I bet most will. And the ones that don't want to email, I would still put your mom's phone number. I don't know why I am uncomfortable with putting your number, but for some reason I am.

ah i like the idea of making up a new email address! for my bridal shower we put my mom's number and her email and most people rsvp'd through email. but i had to make up a whole spreadsheet for her with everyone's name and a yes or no column.... she gets confused easily lol.

I agree. My sister made up a special email just for invite rsvps to make it easier to keep track.
