where in florida would you go?
DH and i are thinking of taking a quick getaway trip soon- we want to go somewhere warm and not too involved in getting there.
We've been to Key West (and i'm preggo, so not going there this time)
any suggestions?
we really just want someplace with a nice beach/pool we can sit by and unwind. nightlife would be nice, but not a must
thanks!

I live on the west coast. I personally like these beaches better.
Look into
Marco Island
Sanibel/Capitva Islands
Naples

What about Tampa or West Palm Beach ? Ft. Lauderdale? Not sure which coast you prefer

I love the Gulf coast and the Sarasota area in particular. My favorite (and one of the most beautiful beaches) is Siesta Key. It's very small and laid-back but you can drive to St. Armands for more restaurants and nightlife.

I love Sanibel/Captiva Islands, not far from Ft Myers Airport and just beautiful and low key
