Goals w/o plans r just wishes

It REALLY bugs me when
people (especially those who are not, and have never been, pregnant) try to give me "advice" on how to naturally induce my own labor. People keep saying "Oh, go for a long walk... vacuum the living room.... do squats... eat spicey food... drink caster oil... blah, blah, blah!!!!" SHUT UP ALREADY!!! If any of those worked my baby would already be here. I've been going for a long walk every single day for weeks now & I vacuum about twice a week, etc, etc. It's all just dumb. And besides that, my Dr said not to do any of it. None of those things bring on labor. So i'm getting really tired of random people thinking they know what they're talking about. I know they're probably just trying to be nice and give advice, but it takes all my strength not to respond back with attitude. Ahh!!!!  Baby just needs to get here already.

Unsolicited advice is never warranted and unfortunately, never ends! If its not what you should/shouldn't do while pregnant its "Oh, well when my nephew was that age we did this" or "oh my kid slept through the night at 5 days old" bla blah blah

ew, that would REALLY bother me - people giving too much advice AFTER baby is here (which I'm sure will happen). I just don't think people should give advice at all unless its asked of them.
I think for me, it just bothers me more because I know they're wrong and they seem so confident that they're right. lol.

I do sometimes ask people for advice and am happy to get that but I agree with the unsolicited from strangers and such.
yup, doesn't help. I've done walking, bouncing, squatting, stretching - nada!! I have finally accepted that there is nothing I can do and I think I'm a bit happier due to it (I was getting VERY frustrated wondering what I was doing wrong). So when people bring up stuff that they KNOW will work (even though I've already tried it), it just p!sses me off. When I want advice, I ask for it.

I hate that too! I've always hated when people give advice when they have never been in that situation. I also hate when anyone not pregnant just thinks they know what its like to be pregnant and I also hate when they make rude remarks about the way you look. YOU have never been through this but I cannot wait for it to be your turn!!!!!!!! Lets see how "well" they do pregnant. It's so irritating.

Yeah I do think it's true that sometimes it's just waiting. . and it's hard to remember that this whole thing really is just an estimate and our bodies will do it when they are ready. . I do know in the scheme of things a few days are not a big deal but it's hard to keep that in mind at this stage!

i hate unsolicited advice as well...BUT... I did hear that there is a chiropractic adjustment that can be done to get the baby further down the birth canal and speed up the labor process.
