Orlando Hotel with Best Outdoor Pools/Amenities?

I'm going to Orlando and want to stay at a nonDisney hotel/resort that has the best pool and activities (slides, sprayground, etc.) for my toddler.

I've heard the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
and the JW Marriot Grande Lakes are both awesome but both are over my budget at about $200/night. With resort and parking fees included, that gets expensive.

Anyone know of a hotel/resort that fits the bill under $150?

Thanks!

I really enjoyed the JW Marriott. The rooms, grounds and pool area are beautiful. What time of the year are you going? I've gotten rooms there for under $200

I don't know if you're interested in more timeshare type places but you can check out Summer Bay Resort, Orange Lake Country Club, Sheraton Vistana and Liki Tiki. They all have splash areas and zero entry pools.

I'm going in late April and wanted to bid on Priceline but am afraid I'll get some of the more business oriented resorts/hotels that cater to convention goers instead of families.

Call the JW Marriott and ask if you could get a room for $XXX. Name your price.

We stayed there for DH's work conference and we stayed for 2 extra night (that his work didn't cover) and paid less than $200 each night. I think our rate was $150.

I third the Sheraton Vistana - the Villages are a bit more updated than the Resort.

Just wanted to add that they just finished a multi-year renovation at the Vistana Resort and everything has been updated (the Villages are a lot newer and they are still building).

Have not stayed here, but Family Vacation Critic rates Nickelodeon Family Suites in Orlando as a place with a great outdoor pool
