Living Room Frame Collage - thank you!
I asked for suggestions on what to do with the bare wall in my living room and I got a lot of suggestions for a frame collage....at first I was going to do 4 very large frames but when I priced it out it was pretty expensive and I wasn't sure how I felt about having only 4 photos....so after some thinking DH and I decided we could do a really cool family tree type of thing with all old photographs of our grandparents and parents (like our grandparents wedding photos and our parents as babies - like the old sepias) and eventually us and our future children and pets of course  ....one night we were shopping in kohls and I saw really nice frames on clearance - so I grabbed a bunch of them hoping they could work for our idea....we hung them and I'm happy with the arrangement....I'm still in the process of collecting photos so the frames are still empty - but here are some photos of the frames on the wall:
I think once the photos are in it will be a nice conversation piece and I'll finally have some family photos up...DH said all we need now is crown molding  maybe one day
I just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions....I found a really inexpensive way to add some personalization and decor on that empty wall...thank you for the idea!!!!

I even think making all the pictures in a SEPIA tone would be so nice and match the decor.

Love it!!! I hope the Kohls near me has them! I have been on the hunt for something to hang over my sofa and that looks beautiful!!!

Thanks....I think all sepia is what I'll do...I have so many great old photos (i love love love old pictures), I'll just have to play around with the tones on the newer photos (like the ones of DH and I)...

It looks great!! I love your idea about the family pictures. I actually have a blank wall also and have no clue what to do with it. This definitely helped me trying to figure out what I can try to put on there

Thank you...the walls are Benjamin Moore Nantucket Gray....i first saw the color in Camacho's house (so inspiring!) and i showed it to my husband who also loved it so we went for it - its a great color...
