Decaf Tea...
So I am 4 weeks today and thought I was being good by ordering a starbucks decaf passion fruit tea...only to realize after I drank it online that it has his hibiscus in it which apparantely is a big no no for pregnancy and causes miscarriages....
I am sure drinking 1 cup just this time and never again would be safe right? Ugh being newly pregnant I am all paranoid about what I eat/drink!
Sure hope I didn't harm the baby!

Thanks! I am sure I will be like this all through the first trimester...especially since my OB doesn't even do sonos until 18W! I am hoping I can convince her to let me do one earlier at my 12 week appointment..especially with my family history

Wow 18 weeks! I hope she will take your family history into consideration. Is she checking heartbeat at each visit?

I haven't seen OB yet...first appointment is around 6 weeks...I know they don't check then cause too early (they do bloodwork go over everything ect)....they said at the next appointment 10-12 weeks..they check the heartbeat with the doppler...so i'd assume so...
I am good at convincing people...plus with my grandma having bunch of miscarriages and my mom having a child stillborn with downs (or some sort of genetic defect)..I am sure I have a good case to convince.....luckily the OB said when I asked her about TTC my moms stillborn was probably more bad luck then genetic ...I hope she is right..I mean me and my brother did turn out normal
