Outfits to take baby home in
What size do you get?
Newborn??
0-3months??
also what is an appropriate outfit to take home a baby in for summer??
im looking to buy a boy outfit and a girl outfit dont really know what im looking for.

this is what i got
the size for this outfit is newborn-3months
since i am due at the end of may and you never know with this weather i liked how this outfit had 3 pieces that way if it is warm the cardigan can come off

For my first DD I think I was given a 0-3 month and she was swimming in it

Since my baby was already measuring big at 30 weeks (~ 5lbs) and she has a long torso, I plan to bring an outfit to cover 0-3, 3-6 and 6-9 months.

I am just bringing a simple sleep-and-play outfit--one newborn size, one 0-3 month size. I am also bringing mittens, a hat, and the bundleme (since it's February). I want this to be as easy as possible! :)

not sure yet...i have a lil sister long sleeve onesie and matching hat. I got 0-3 mths. I think I will find a pair of matching pants and put her in that and my older DD in her matching Big sister shirt baby is coming April 11. I'd say light layers are a good bet.

I think I will get something in newborn size. My Mom said she is going to get something for a boy and something for a girl since we are team green. Even though its going to be hot I think a lightweight cotton onesie is ok.

Jess- I think I wrote this to you on LIW a while ago but our DH's used to play hockey together. My husband's cousin is Kenny Furuya. Also, I know Jess Lyons! I saw on her fb that you are friends! Such a small world!

Congrats to you too! He might have before but hasn't done the turkey cup in awhile. If we have boys Im sure they will be in skates when they can walk!

I fell in love with a giraffe hat in Gap a few months ago and I HAD to have it  My MIL gave us an adorable giraffe outfit at the shower that I am going to put him in to go with the hat. I believe it is 0-3 months. My mom just brought over the baby blanket my Dad's aunt made for me when I was born, which my parents took me home in, so I'm going to bring that with us as well since it will be March and could be cool out.

Not sure yet, I think we're going to see how big this baby is and DH will just bring something we get from our shower to the hospital. My brother had to run out and get my nephew premie clothes because he was swimming in everything! (he was 6 lbs. 14 oz.)

I had two kids that were over 10 pounds, both came home in 0-3 outfits and they were just a tad big. By 2 weeks they were both out of 0-3, but it was a good size for big babies.

I just got something in the mail today from carters and I immediately decided I needed to get these for the babies to come home in. They are $10 a pc at Carters and they had a coupon too!!

NB is fine size wise. DS was 9lb14oz and 22.5 inches long, and he fit in NB at the time.
We had an outfit that was 0-3 to take him home in and it was big on him.

This is the one I originally had. With the matching green one for Twin B. But they looked tremendous. So I returned them. And now am going to use one of these:
Both are newborn.
