Need Vacation suggestions
Instead of having a 30th for DH, we decided to spend the money going on vacation, just the two of us.
We want to do an all-inclusive (not to Cozumel, St. Lucia or DR because we have already gone to those places and want to see something new.)
Any suggestions??

DH and I went to Aruba last year and stayed at the Bucuti resort- which is not in the high rise area- if you are looking for more of a relaxing, serene, adult only resort- this is it!! its fabulous!!!!

Riveria Maya, my parents recently went and they can't stop talking about it, so much to do...my dad is a very picky person and he actually loved it there! I was speechless when I saw the pictures absolutely beautiful! and it was all inclusive!
This where they stayed....

how about a cruise? Everything is included except alcohol and external items you may buy on board or off shore excursions.

YES! We went here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We have been to several all inlusives and this was head and shoulders above every one. Best resort we have been!

We loved Aruba! We couldnt stop talking about it the whole time we were in St Lucia ( especially since it cost less than half of what we paid to go there LOL ).
We went a LONG time ago but we stayed at the Divi Tamarijn. Not "luxury" but it is on the beach and the food was good!

we went to Aruba a few years ago, the occidental grand was all inclusive and I believe the Riu is too (but when we were there they were just building it!) ... it was a lot of fun and gorgeous there. Its also good if you are going during "hurricane season" as its outside the hurricane belt.

I'm chiming in for Aruba! DH and I stayed at Riu Palace for our honeymoon last May. Loved everything about it! Already planning a return trip.

DH and i just booked a trip to Cabo for the end of May. we booked at the Riu Palace (it's all inclusive) we stayed at the Riu Palace in Aruba for our honeymoon too.

I was going to suggest the Riu Palace in Cabo as well. I usually hate all-inclusives and I went to the Riu close to against my will - my DH insisted- and let me tell you, it was amazing. The place is pristine. Would definitely recommend it.

I went to the Bucuti for my honeymoon and stayed in the Tara Suites. I would love to go back, we loved it. It's not an all inclusive, but they used to have a dine-around plan and I think breakfast is now included.
We also did the Tamarijn in Aruba a few years ago and liked that too. It is an all inclusive, the food was good, especially in the restaurants you have to make reservations in. We did go out to eat for dinner twice while we were there too.

what the frig? we paid less than $3K including airfare for 8 nights. . .
am i that old? did i go in the 70s or something?!
I am sure you can find something cheaper!

I have been to the bahamas a few times, Jamaica, St Lucia and St Maarten and St. Maarten was by far my favorite. Good luck planning and have fun!
