ID for children

Anyone know what type of ID I need for my children (3 & 6)to fly? In the past, I used their passports but they are expired now.

TIA!

ETA - It is a domestic flight.

they don't need any ID under 18. They will just ask for the adults IDs. They may ask older children some questions (like their name).

Re: ID for children

I've never been asked for anything.. I usually carry copies of their birth certificates but in all honesty, I do it more as a just in case something happened to me.. Chat Icon

Like the pp said. No id is needed. I always carry there birth certificates though, just incase. The screener has also asked my children their name at the gate.

I brought copies of their BC but I was not asked to show any ID for my 1 year old and almost 3 year old when we flew.
