maternity belly ring??

i really love my belly ring.. but its getting near time to take it out. i would rather the hole not close if i can avoid it. but i also dont want the hole to get really ugly either. one of my friends left hers in too long and the hole stretched . when she ended up taking out the ring the hole was all sorts of weird. it eventually closed and she got it re-pierced but it still looks weird.

ive seen maternity belly rings online, but some of them just look really long and funny . any thoughts??

I took mine out a few years ago but somehow I could still put a ring in if I wanted to. For whatever reasons, piercings don't close up on me. Could possibly be the case for you too...

I took mine out like 3 years ago and it never closed.

interesting. i just ordered a maternity one just in case. but that's encouraging! ive had this sucker since i was 14 and i dont want to give it up!!

i put in a maternity bar around 8 weeks ago and love it....they look long because you are supposed to cut it to the right length for you. At 29 and 1/2 weeks I love mine and it's super comfy. hth

i took mine out at like 20 weeks.

i didnt want to, and i prob could of held off, but i was like who knows what my stomach will look like after pregnancy (if i get strechmarks...etc) so i was thinking that i will prob never wanna show off my tummy again so what the hell...

takes a while to get use to tho after its out, cuz your belly looks completely different without it.

if you really wanna keep it than i say go for getting the prenancy one. at 20 weeks my hole didnt really stretch dont know if it would have if i kept it in,
just beware some prego's belly button pops, that might look a little strange with a belly ring tho...lol

I took mine out around 9 weeks because it was bothering me. I don't think the hole has closed up but I wanted to give it time to heal up because I don't know what it's gonig to look like once my belly gets big.

I took mine out in the way beginning for my first pregnancy and after I had my DD I was able to put it back in with no problem and it looked the same as it did beforehand. I took mine out around 18 weeks this pregnancy and hoping it will happen the same way.

I took mine out when I got my bfp. I was afraid of the stretching of the hole...haha It has not closed yet and I don't think it will. I think I will be able to put my ring back in.

i had mine till i wqas 28 weeks with abby and then took it out and was able to pop it back in before my 6week pp dr visit the doctor was impressed... it never closed and NEVER stretched!
