Logan David's surprise arrival! - Updated w/ a picture
Our little boy, Logan David, surprised us by arriving exactly 1 month before his due date on 2/13/11 at 11:32 pm. His birth weight was 6 lbs 2 oz and he was 20 1/2 inches long.
Though a good size, he's still in the NICU because of low blood sugar. He's making progress, and they've decreased his dextrose, but he still needs a little encouragement with the whole eating thing.
I'm hopeful that he'll be home by the end of the week.
I'm also having some issues with my platelet count and need to head back to the hematologist on Friday. Hopefully they won't have to put me on steroids to get them back up again.
Loving my little boy though. I'll upload pictures from my camera in the morning. I must say, he's pretty darn cute! Image Attachment(s):
