Mom's PG with #2 or more
When did you need to move into your maternity pants?
I'm still fine in my regular stuff (I'm only 8w1d) but I'm just wondering when I'm going to need to lug all my maternity stuff up from the basement.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I got away with a lot of stretchy/yoga type pants for a while. I am a SAHM so fashion isn't really a big deal for me
I think by 13 weeks I was starting to wash my old maternity clothes.

With #1, i moved to maternity pants around the 16w mark. This time was WAY earlier. Like almost immediately. Just so much more comfy

I know I'm gonna need it much earlier this time. I can see my body changing already. I don't have a belly yet, but my girls always get so big and they r huge already.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
work pants-around 10 weeks (so much more comfy) I was wearing my regular jeans up until last week (18 weeks) only because they sit low on my hips, but they were sooooo uncomfortable so I finally agve them up.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
With DS I didn't wear maternity clothes till about 20 weeks and wasn't even showing.
Now, with #2 I was bloated early at 8 weeks. Then it wasn't so bad at 12 weeks, but in maternity clothes by 13 - 14 weeks. Pple said I didn't look pregnant, but my hips got and butt got big faster. Now my boobs are bigger... although I'm not complaining about that b/c since DS I had none

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I'm on #3. by 8 weeks I couldn't fit into pants that fit perfectly. I'm 11.5 weeks now and I have only 4 pants left that fit. After this week off, I'm changing over to maternity (will be 13.5)

This was the same as me...but I could get away with them until about 24 weeks...I just took out my maternity pants 2 weeks ago.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I'm 15 weeks and I just broke out the maternity clothes last week - but my boobs must have grown a lot - because some of the shirts don't fit. I went to Motherhood Maternity and bought a pair of jeans since I didn't have any and I bought a few long sleeve t-shirts. i'm a SAHM, so I don't need anything too dressy. I do have some stuff from my 1st pg since I was working at that time.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
i was in all maternity pants at 10w. They're just sooooo much more comfortable!
eta: I wasn't in full maternity until 20 wks with #1! Dress pants are not very forgiving in the waist and I couldn't see spending $ to go buy the next size.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and I just went up a size in my jeans but I have some time before I break out maternity gear. I think with DS I was probably 20+ weeks before I really needed maternity clothes!!

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I was in maternity pants before my first trimester was over. I could fit in a few looser non-mat options but once I broke out those mat pants I was in heaven!
ETA: with DS I was in mat around 17 weeks.

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
Thanks ladies! I have a feeling I'm going to be there sooner rather than later. I feel like I'm growing by the day (I'm sure it's not b/c I'm eating non stop all day long )

Re: Mom's PG with #2 or more
I am on baby #3 and about 8 weeks. I already feel uncomfortable in my regular jeans but don't even come close to fitting in maternity (sz S) yet.
There is 6 years between DS#1 and DS#2 so I was back to less than what I weighed before I got prego the 1st time. With #2 I was very bloated in the beginning but didn't start showing or wearing maternity clothes till about 18-20wks. With this one I feel it will be a lot faster. my belly is expanding much sooner and i feel like my waistline is also. my boobs are not that much bigger if at all.
DS#2 just turned 1 so that may also be why im showing faster, since they will only be 21 months apart.

24 weeks, same as with DS #1. All of the sudden the waist got tight in my regular pants.
