Re: DUST
YES!! I try to stay on top of it with a swiffer duster and polish every other week or so. I feel like it's a losing battle with a cat and opening windows on warmer days.
Do air purifiers help suck the dust out of the air?

Re: DUST
Yes - and I keep my windows open so that doesn't help the situation. I dust with a very lightly damp flannel cloth, keep rinsing as it gets dustier. Find that this keeps the dust down better than the swiffer. Swiffer just moves it around while the cloth picks it up, and then I can just toss it in to the laundry.

Re: DUST
We have air purifiers and have found them to work well in the rooms they are in.
We have baseboard heating.

Re: DUST
Yep, hate it. The summer is much better.
And we dont even have pets. We have forced heat and baseboard also. We alternate the two.
Our floors and furniture are dark so it seems like its always there just hours after dusting.
Especially having no carpets; the dust will show up more since it has no where to go!

Re: DUST
yes forced air makes it worse. I have it too. We did get our ducts cleaned out 3 years ago and it made a HUGE difference. We may have to do it again next year.

Re: DUST
yes! its just 2 of us and a dog so i don't get it
i am cleaning ALL THE TIME...but i think its mostly due to the forced heat and our drier skin...i don't remember it being this bad a few month ago..and like someone else said, the dark furniture does NOT help!
