More fashion advice from my almost 3-yr old

This morning I was getting ready for work.

Ryan was relaxing in my bed.

He looks across the room at me, I had on black pants and a casual long-sleeved white tee shirt.

He said, "why are you wearing that mommy?"

I said, "I'm getting ready for work".

"Well you need something over your white shirt".



"It's more beautiful with something on top of it".

I added a pink cashmere cardigan and he said it was better

Amazes me how he's "into" dressing lately.

The other day I told him to get dressed - left his clothes in the playroom for him. 10-minutes later I peaked in and he was just in his shirt - naked waste down, holding his sweatpants up to his body, covering his legs.

I said, "aren't you supposed to be getting dressed, what are you doing?"

"I'm just making sure they look right first before I put them on Mommy"
