OMG is right!! I called it Did Dr. T faint? LOL Congrats!!
LOL. Dr. T seemed LESS than happy for sure.
When I get nervous, I laugh, so as soon as he said he saw 3, I started laughing, and he actually told me to STOP laughing He kinda of gave a disapproving look as if to say, look what you gone and did now. I know REs consider multiples a failure, but DH and I are over the moon. na na na NA.
I can NOT believe that at 5w5d we got to actually hear 2 heartbeats (dh started tearing, I think I was still giggling ) It was just the most amazing moment of my life.
Dr. T said he thought he saw a pole for Baby B, but to be honest, I did not see anything. He did say it may be too early For those who have/had multiples, did you see/hear heartbeat at 6 weeks for both? Please pray for my Baby B
Lol, the first thing my DH said to me after the doctor left the room was, i guess we have to sell the house LMAO.
My god life is INSANE
everyone says this but i wish there was a like button on LIF...cause i would like this 100 times over...

What an incredible update!!!
you can definitely hear your giddiness come through - very happy for you guys!!!
Why do RE's consider multiples a failure???? and who cares if the dr thinks that anyway. You guys can just consider it a double success!!

Re: omg omg omg omg
I think the failure part is due to the potential risks and complications involved with a multiple pregnancy. When I mentioned transferring more than 2, he kept talking about how the goal here is to have one healthy pregnancy and only one. Bah
I also think that since everything needs to be reported to the CDC and SART, I may have messed with his stats, ha. When a couple is looking for a clinic, im sure they look at the rate of mulitples.
From the start of IVF, I have imagined 9000118984 different scenarios in my head, never once did it involve triplets. It just never even crossed my mind. I know we transferred 3, but still, given our history and "crummy" embies, I just prayed for ONE. In fact when I started spotting, I convinced myself I was no longer pregnant at all.
Classic, be sure to tell him Kelly and the trips say HIIIIII

Maybemommy, who cares what dr T thinks or even about his stats? I thought he should be happy that one of his patients with a long history of IF got pregnant?

Re: omg omg omg omg
I was telling my DH this morning all about your success and couldn't wait to see if you posted an update. I just read this to him and we are so thrilled! I'm crying here for you. I told you I had a feeling....
Oh, and as for Dr. T, from my experience he's an arse
I know for me after years of IF, triplets would be a dream come true.

you are right about why multiples are considered a failure. when dr. B did my first sono and there were two sacs but only one baby - his response was, "don't worry, it's much better this way." i think the goal of most REs is one healthy baby since its so much safer for the mother. but regardless, after all you have been through for your !

I just "graduated" and will be seeing Dr. Victor Klein next week. He was highly recommended and had delivered many triplets. I was thinking about Kofinas but he doesn't accept my insurance. What about you? Any ideas! Please feel free to FM me.
Once again congratulations!
