When will the federal taxes be filed?
They are delaye this year but does anyone know when they'll be filed? I used freetaxusa.com and I believe they will automatically file when they can. I NEED that money!

If you do not itemize your deductions or use the tuition & fees deduction on your return, you could have filed them already.
If you itemize and use form Schedule A (for most people who own a home and claim mortgage interest & property taxes, charity, etc.) - then the returns will begin being accepted by February 15th.

i had my tuition & thinkgs like that on it... but we chose the standard deduction and were able to file last week... i dont think tuition is included in that...

All the federal forms will be available after 2.14.
because of all the last minute changes that should have been approved way before they actually were
