39 weeks *w/ Update After Dr's Appt*
I'm wearing black to my doctor's appointment today in protest of still being pregnant  . Forget about how dialated/effaced I am...the pregnancy glow radiating from my face indicates that it's time for this girl to come OUT!!!
PS: I just cleaned my bathroom mirror after realizing how dirty it looks in this picture. It really didn't look that bad in person.
***Update: My OB said I'm 1.5 cm/50% effaced/-2. I had no clue was "-2" meant, and she explained that meant that  is starting to drop but is not dropped all the way. The internal didn't hurt when she was doing it but I now feel really sore and am bleeding (she said to expect that though). So I guess I won't be seeing today despite my protests!
On the bright side...I told DH yesterday that I was going to donate all of his nice shirts to charity if he doesn't start wearing them (he seriously has about 70 nice button-down shirts in his closet, and wears maybe 3 of them all the time). He wore a different one today, and all the nurses and receptionists told him that he should be on the cover of GQ because he looked so good . I was happy.

First of all, congrats on the progress! Progress is progress!
Second of all, I know how you feel about what your DH wears! My DH has a ton of nice shirts that I haven't seen him wear since we were dating. Nice that someone other than you noticed though!

It drives me CRAZY!! He has so many nice things, they fit him so well, and he always goes for this baggy button-down shirt and wide-leg jeans from Wal-Mart. When he wears them, he looks like 15-20 pounds heavier than his actual weight! I was so happy when he busted out a green shirt today because it's my favorite color on him  .
