Anyone else get bad headaches?
I am 6 weeks tomorrow and the last cple weeks I have been getting really bad headaches most nights.
Anyone else have this in their 1st trimester? Tell me it stops

I had awful headaches throughout the first trimester until around 11w ... it sucked. I wish I had some advice for you but I don't! Just hang in there.

I have horrible migraines, I am 17 weeks. I hope they get better soon. Mine started around the 11th week. You can take tylenol and if they are really bad your dr can give you tylenol codeine. Good luck

I had bad bad headaches. esp in the first trimester. and they got even worse during the transition weeks into the 2nd trimester.
however.... now that i'm 19 weeks... and def settled into the 2nd tri... i haven't had a headache.
i traded headaches for heartburn. the heartburn is really bad for me and i knew it would come since I have issues with that before pregnancy. however it's not as debilitating as the migraines were... so i'd rather the heartburn; at least i can drink some milk and have relief for a little while.

that's what i used. sometimes it worked. most of the time it didn't. but i tried anyway.
i also tried to have some caffeine beverage to help alleviate the head pains.

I never had headaches pre-pregnancy but started getting them occasionally during first tri. Around 11w I started getting really dizzy with a bad headache if I was laying down and got up too suddenly. My pregnancy app warned about that but it's really annoying  I'm also hoping it goes away soon

Yup. First trimester I had a TON of awful headaches.
They slowed down in the 2nd trimester and were replaced with 3093409 other pains.

Ugh I could have written this. I get about 3-4 a week and nothing helps but sleep. It's so frustrating. Thank god I don't have MS too.

During my 1st tri I got a few migranes - sometimes lasting days! Luckily it stopped by like 12wks.

idk how true this is but the first piece of advice my sister gave me yesterday was to drink ridiculous amounts of water... she said it helps to avoid the headaches and that she learned the hard way during her first pregnancy. second time around she kept herself super hydrated and didn't have headaches as frequently/intensely.

I know. I basically only drink water or seltzer and I try to drink a lot of it...still headaches. Guess I have to up the water intake!

You know what...I always drink so much caffeine (not preggo) maybe this is why I get these freakin headaches..lack of caffeine??? lol I wonder if that is even possible!

i doo!! they didnt start tho untill like 12 weeks, and between 12-16 weeks i felt like i had one everday! now at 21 weeks i get them occasionally and it sucks...i know you can take tylenol but i havent, usually a nap helps!
