Fell on Ice!
I am currently 10 weeks and took a nasty fall on the ice the other day! Fell down extremely hard, right on my butt. I panicked about the baby and called my doctor's office, but the nurse I spoke to didn't seem to be too concerned. She said to just watch out for any bleeding. I haven't bled at all, but I was kinda hoping that they would see me anyway, just to check me out for peace of mind. I'm worried because I have huge bruises now, which shows me how hard of a hit I took on the concrete. Would you girls ask for a sonogram to make sure everything is ok? Or would you just trust that the baby is fine?

If you are worried make an appointment.
But if you have no bleeding chances are things are fine. The baby is well protected in there and since you fell on your butt that area seems to have taken the most from the fall.

Agreed. I took a bad fall when I was pregnant with DS. My Dr was like, no worries, you are fine! And I was! The baby is well protected in there....

chances are ur baby is perfectly ok! they are pretty well insulated in there. i took a nasty fall on ice when i was pregnant with ds i was about 8 9 weeks.
however if ur concerned call ur dr - nothing better than peace of mind!

I fell down my basement stairs very early on in my pregnancy. I had a very nasty bruise but that was the worst of it.  is healthy. Try not to worry too much.

I am 38 weeks and I fell the other day on my butt too.... I also fell a few times when I was early and it was fine.... if you aren't cramping or bleeding and the dr. isn't concerned I wouldn't be either. Feel better!
