Wow, your administration is really horrible. I'm pretty sure they can't just change your assignment/schedule in the middle of the year, so I'm glad your UFT rep is taking this seriously.
Are you planning on going back? I don't like that she said there would be "consequences" for starting your leave. WTH does that mean??

spoke to my rep and I can file a grievance for harassment since she threatened me.
still waiting to hear from the higher ups.

I have been following your story and your principal is a nut. I have never heard of a principal being so unreasonable when it comes to someone's health.

I am sorry you have to deal with this! My AP is giving me crap too! I am due in a few weeks and they are observing me and giving me a hard time. I think its something with schools and the way the treat pregos!

Wow, I can't believe the way that they're treating you!! It's almost like they don't want you to come back. I'm glad you're filing a grievance, their behaviors are totally uncalled for!!

Sounds like grounds for a hostile work environment, for a few reasons. Don't let them get to you, you did the right thing for you and the baby. Hope you get some rest before LO arrives! Besides, you don't want to be out tomorrow in the slop!! Stay home, toasty and warn!!
