I really can't believe your job - I am so sorry that you are going through this
They will get theirs in the end - just be happy you are home and don't have to go back there and you will be holding your LO soon - oh and also that DH has an amazing boss!!
I would not go in that classroom pg or not - if he has something that contagious - no thanks.

Wow! That is unreal. I hope you have a great union rep and that principal gets what she deserves!!!! Unbelievable.
Try not to let it stress you out. You have clearly had your baby in your best interests the whole time so keep it up right now.

I am soooo sorry. I feel so bad for you. And how dare she threaten you with "consequences", this is pretty much what they have wanted, you to go. How dare they speak to you like this and treat you like this. Not only are you a human being, but carrying one inside you, how dare they. I seriously hope your union rep fights this one for you and heads roll for what they have done to you. I am LIVID for you.
Please, I know this is hard, but please try to let this go and focus on yourself and you little one that will be here real soon. You do not want to harm either of you. Just rest and enjoy some quiet time before the baby comes.

You know, I graduated from law school in May, passed the bar in July, & haven't been able to find a job. I'm now 6.5 mos preggo, and kinda wish I was able to be working & being productive, but now, it's not worth it. Your story made me say to myself... "Yup, not worth it."
Anyway... Sounds like your AP is being ridiculous. I'm glad you put yourself & your baby first. I think your response was great; not sure I would've been able to keep my cool & come up with a good answer like that, so I'm totally impressed that you did. Good for you! And don't look back! Just speak with your rep.

Your principal has alot of nerve. You are working PAST your due date. How dare they treat you like that. I teach and as bad as it might seem in my school I have never heard of anything like that. Come work in my school, at least you will not have that aggrevation.
ANyway, now stay home until your baby arrives and dont look back until your Maternity Leave is up.

That is absolutely ridiculous! I understand them making plans for your eventual departure, but that is just absolutely uncalled for! I hope you get what you deserve (not consequences!) from your UFT rep. and am glad they are on your side and going to bat for you! You are CORRECT-BABY FIRST! Feel well!
