I'm not too picky... whichever one has a working lock .. enough toilet paper .. nothing too gross around the floor or seat .. and clean inside the bowl so I know it flushes

I read an article that said the first stall has the LEAST amount of germs because people tend to head towards the back of a restroom for more privacy.
I've actually read the opposite, that most people head for the first stall, which is why I head for the last

interesting, I usually start with the one closest to me and go down the row to see which looks the cleanest. If I have the 3 kids with me I always use the handicap stall.

ETA: At least that's what Oprah told me, and I figure if she's peeing in the 1st stall then it's good enough for me!
Oprah uses public restrooms? I guess I just assumed she had one built whenever/wherever she had to go.

I absolutely hate public restrooms. I have become so used to holding it in that I can be at work all day (8:30am-4:30pm) & never go. I know, its very bad for you but public restrooms gross me out.
However, there have been times that I have really had to go, so I do a search & find the cleanest stall & thats the stall I use. I also carry my own toilet paper, seat covers all the time & lysol wipes.

I read the same thing about the 1st one, so I usually try to go to that one if it is not occupied. but for some reason at work I always go in stall #2, no matter what... and if someone is in that one, I feel weird using a different stall.... I have issues!

We have a 6 stall bathroom at work and I was actually thinking about this the other day. I was going to post a poll on here.
I think everyone has read or heard the same thing, about the first one being the cleanest. But if the majority of the population heard the same thing and are using the first one, am I wrong in thinking it's not the cleanest anymore? From the responses, I am thinking a lot of people are using the first one...
