nervous
I have my amnio tomorrow and I am nervous, any advice. The only part I am looking forward to is the sono to see the baby. Please give details, just want to prepare myself. How long did it take for your results?

Re: nervous
I am sure you will be fine. There is not a lot of pain, a small pinch and some discomfort. After I felt like my belly had a bruise where the needle went in. I was a little crampy after, nothing major or anything to be concerned about. The actually amnio fluid removal was probably all of ten minutes. I had my intial results in a couple of days and then full results in about 2 weeks.
Good Luck and

Re: nervous
I was told to take it easy for the rest of the day. I did run a couple of errands with my mom before we came home. I think the recommendation was for 24-48 hours.
