What do you think of this dress?
I found this maternity dress about a month ago and fell in love with it. I was thinking of getting it for my shower.
First of all...do you think 140 dollars is too much for a dress that I might only wear once?
Secondly, do you think that this dress is too white and "spring-like" for a March shower?
It's so hard to find a dress that isn't solid. I want some color in it, but everything I see has pinks and purples in it and I'm not sure if that goes against proper etiquette being that I am having a boy. Image Attachment(s):

I think it's a little pricey for a one time only dress. But it is very cute.
When it comes to clothes and pregnancy -- I don't think there needs to be any "rules" about whether something is too spring like or anything for a shower. Go with what you a)really like and b)will be comfortable in!
As for colors, who cares if you have pinks and purples and you're having a boy?! I don't think anyone will say "oh do you see she's wearing GIRL colors....GASP!"

I like it and agree who cares about the season. . personally I wouldn't spend 140 if I was only going to wear it once but also feel like if you have the money and it makes you feel pretty GO FOR IT!!
overstock.com actually has a few similar dresses for much less. . or at least did a month or so ago. . I bought two dresses there hesitantly and they were the best two dresses of my pregnancy for style and fit. ..

I think the dress is pretty cute. But I also think you could probably find something for at least half the price. Unless you have more than 1 affair to attend that would justify spending the $$.
I spent about $30 on my sprinkle outfit. But since becoming a SAHM I could probably use a dose of "What Not To Wear" in my life

I think it's cute...very low cut. I know my enormous baby boobs would be hanging out of it, but if you can rock it then go for it! Adorable.
