Re: Would you/ do you wear knockoffs?
Now that i am stepping out of diaper bag world, I am finding myself buying more and more jessica simpson. love her shoes, love her bags.
I haven't bought any knock offs...but i am sort of over the labels right now.

Knockoffs? Or counterfeit?
Counterfeits, no. Knockoffs, to me, aren't the same. For example, my favorite shoes ever where a pair of Aerosoles that were inspired by or "knocked off" a similar pair of Prada shoes. I have nothing against knockoffs in that instance.

Re: Would you/ do you wear knockoffs?
No. I prefer the real thing. If I can't afford the real thing, I would rather something original and different in my price range. I concentrated on intellectual property in law school and had a problem with knockoffs after taking trademarks.
JMO though. I have no problem with others wearing knockoffs!

No.
If I was walking around with a "Chanel" bag, the first thing everyone who knows me would think is "She can't afford a Chanel bag! That must be a knockoff!" Thus, defeating the point.

I LOVE my "fuggs" from Costco. They are comfortable, warm and I get compliments on them all the time.
IMO these are not knockoffs. They are the same style, but they are honest and not holding themselves out to be Uggs.
Now having a bunch of children in a third world country working for pennies an hour making fake Uggs with the Ugg label is quite different.
I would buy something in the STYLE of a designer brand that is clearly not designer, but not something that holds itself out to be something it is not.
