Riding Boots ????!?!?!?!?
I am thinking of buying a pair of riding boots. The pair I have been eyeing are from naturalizer and have a bit of elastic in them (I have large calves). I have tried other brans for wide shaft and they still do not fit...
can someone weigh in on these PLEASE!?!?!?!

Thank you

I saw these when I was looking--I also have wide calves. I don't really like the look of all that elastic.

thank you for your honest opinion, and for posting them!
I fear I will never be able to own a pair...
Maybe there is a support group out there for those of us with thick calves that want tall boots.

I have a pair of David Tate wide calf boots but they have a heel. I kind of gave up on flat boots, but I also need the shoe part to be wide width, so my options are more limited.
You have to be careful when you order & find out the shaft circumference, b/c wide means different things to different people.

These puppies stretch to 15 inches in shaft circumference... I was eyeing another pair from aerosole 13 inches....
I wish there was a tape measure at work.

do you have a ruler?
take a strip of paper (if you have 11x17), wrap it around your leg and measure against the ruler

I have wide calves as well, I purchase my boots from wide-widths.com and onestopplus.com (they carry so many different brands) also I believe zappos has a feature that you can put in for wide calves.

Re: Riding Boots ????!?!?!?!?
i actually like them i'm going through a similar thing right now with trying to find boots with wide calf widths
i've ordered from zappos (they have boots specifically marked for wide widths), widewidths.com and onestopplus.com. i even found a few on overstock.com. My problem is that they'll fit in the calf, but then be ridiculously baggy around the ankle. Or i just don't like the style.. or they're not tall enough. Sigh..
i think i might order these you posted as well to see if i like them in person!
