Babies who sleep in the swing at night?
Are you actually leaving the swing going all night long? I did this with Taylor a few times and yes, she did sleep longer but her hands were so cold.

When DD was a NB, that thing was always on. She slept better if it was on and I would just cover her with a knitted blanket.

DS only sleeps in his swing. I turn it on if he's drowsy but not asleep yet. If he's in a deep sleep, its not neccessary. I always shut it off before I go to bed for the night.

DD2 slept in her swing till she was almost 3 months old because of reflux but we never turned it on. I would put her in a sleeper and put a blanket over her and then tuck it around and under her with her arms at her sides so that she wouldnt be cold.

DS slept in the swing until he was 8 months old He slept a lot better when it was rocking but as time went on I tried to wean him of the motion. Thankfully we got him in the crib at 8 months and haven't looked back yet.
