dinnerware-kid friendly suggestions?
Hi ALl,
Looking to get some new dinnerware and was looking for your suggestions on something that is durable for kids?
Any recs would be great-looking for something neutral!
If you could post pics that woud be great!

I appreciate it! Looking on their site now anyone have suggestions for something neutral besides white? Anyone have a set they can recommend pattern wise?

DH had a set from when he was living on his own. The mugs are blue, the bowls are white with a blue rim and the plates are white with different colored squares around the outside.

Corelle is perfect, i've had the same set for 4 years and it looks like new and so lightweight and dishwasher friendly, very hard to break!

Corelle! i had another set for just over a year and it did not stand up...bought plain white Corelle and its still doing great 3 years later...and i am a huge klutz!

There are corelle stores in Tanger in Riverhead and one in carle place. They have a huge selection of the different patterns there that you can see. They do have a lot of variety.
Just be careful. I bought 2 sets that I fell in love with. I got them home and I realized that the pattern was not printed correctly on the plates and the pattern was discontinued. I guess that is why these 2 sets were such a good deal at the time. I kept them and live with it because I like the pattern so much.

we have a pfaltzgraff stoneware set, but i was on their site one day and saw that my pattern exists in melamine, so I ordered some! Now @ the dinner table, we have the stoneware plates and DS has the same one, but melamine. I'm so glad I found them!
