Dh got one for Christmas and we both use it often. It's great because it's portable, but so much lighter than a laptop and not bulky either.

I love mine.
I wish I would have splurged for the 3G.
I use it all the time.
This morning I was sitting in front of my laptop on my ipad.
I dislike the auto-correct feature. It's also more difficult to type on the ipad.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the ipad 2 has to offer.

I have all of the above and an iPhone. It is still awesome! I use it more then any kof the other devices. It is all in one and just plain great!

it really depends.
I sold my mac tower pro and i REALLY miss it but i can bring my macbook pro home from work to use. Now it has what i need (programs/speed/etc) my brother purchased the ipad and i do like it but i do the same things on my cell phone (use the same apps) so for me it is kinda pointless right now.
Although if i got a regular cell phone (just to call out) and the Ipad then i would be set but i don't have $400-$500 to shell out on that device.

I was going to wait for gen 2... but I want to jailbreak.
So I bought a used one off ebay last week that I plan to jailbreak. I don't think you will be able to jailbreak the new one anytime soon so this one will hold me over for now while I wait for Gen 2.
Besides for what I paid for this one, I will be able to sell it for more and profit.

CANNOT wait to get one!!!!!!!.........waiting for the IPad 2 to come out this spring which will add a USB port, a built in camera, and some other goodies.

DH got me one for Xmas, but I gave it back to him...it does everything my iPhone does and not much more...I don't have a need for it. I prefer using my iPhone.

Didn't ask for it, but DH got me one for Christmas. At first I was like ????????????? What is this and how do I use it.
I love it! It's awesome. I download apps for the baby and we play together. Online flashcards and she has learned to say so much from them.
