YAYYY! We went to Punta Cana after Thanksgiving and loved it!! The beach is gorgeous!
A really cool thing that we did... we went to this club called "Imagine", its in a real cave, so cool! they pick you up at your hotel around 11:30pm and then pick you up at the club at 4am to take you back. We had so much fun, dh danced all night and he never dances lol

I've heard about this! Do you remember how you booked it? Was it expensive?
we booked it with the tour desk at our hotel. I think it was $50pp, but that was for open bar, and you can go back for as many nights as you want. Transportation is included to and from your hotel. I think its $30 if you just want to go once, but without open bar. It's really cool!

how far is it from punta cana?? we are staying on bavaro beach.
hmmm - do you think it's safe? lol! i've always been told DONT leave the resort but this sounds like it's awesome!!!

You can totally leave the resort!! but its safest to do it with a tour company. We did two catamaran/snorkeling tours and the club. Basically you book it through your hotel...then they tell you what time to be in the lobby and they have a van pick you up around 11:30pm. At 4am, when everyone gets out of the club there are a bunch of vans and someone directing everyone on which van to get into, based on what hotel you're staying at. It was really organized for 4am! We had no problems and had a blast!

ETA: it was about a 20 minute ride from our hotel "Majestic Elegance"
