I think so. we have one at the Marriot in Aruba. Well, my IL's do. They go every year. They've taken us the last five years. It's great and now that we have a kid it's even better. Eat in kitchen, separate bedroom, etc.

my sister has one too and she trades to go to different places. Last year they went to Busch Gardens and just last month they went to Disney. It's great

It depends on what you're looking for. If you think that it will be an investment, then NO.

If you think of it as pre-paying for vacations for years to come, then absolutely.

My parents have theirs in the catskills and they love it... it paid for itself in no time!! when you calculate how much it would cost to keep going to the same place yr after yr, its prob worth it! just be aware that maintainence fees could be $$$$

What I love most about it is that it can be traded at any time/any yr and through interval at least, there are "getaways" that you could take without giving up your TS week... Ive used one to go to Mexico and paid only $500 for a week long stay!

We have Disney Vacation Club, and I think it is worth it. We can stay in really nice accommodations that we wouldn't otherwise be able to afford.
